Brazilian Buttock Lift Before & After Pictures …

Brazilian Butt Lift surgery is an alternative to buttock implants. This buttock augmentation technique requires donor sites for fat transfer, which is typically the abdomen, back or thighs. Once the fat is gently liposuctioned from the donor site, it is then precisely inserted into the fat layers of the buttocks. We invite you to view our Brazilian Butt Lift before and after pictures.

All photos are of actual patients performed at fully accredited California Surgical Institute centers by Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Tarick Smaili.

Buttock Augmentation can be performed by using either buttock implants or fat injections. Buttock implants provide a fuller result and are ideal for patients who are thin and do not have donor sites for fat injections or require extra volume to achieve the desired result.

If you are interested in buttock implants or a Brazilian Buttock Lift, we invite you to schedule a consultation with one of our experienced plastic surgeons. We offer consultations Monday through Saturdayand have 7 locations throughoutLos Angeles, Orange County and the Inland Empire for your convenience. Brazilian Buttock Lift

Brazil is known for its year-round tropical climate and its the only country where there is a defined bikini season. Brazilians have long favored a well-endowed rear, and seek this surgery over that of breast enlargement most of the time. What else would you expect from the creators of the original thong bikini ?

Not surprisingly, plastic surgeons in that country have been leaders in buttock sculpting, and developed a simple yet effective way to add fullness to the buttocks while simultaneously narrowing the hips and waist to give the ultimate in curves.

First, the doctor will greet you in a private room along with whomever else you wish to have there, and mark the areas where fat is to be removed, and where it will be added. You will have time to complete any preferences you have at this time.

Most procedures are done with you either asleep or under sedation. The first step in performing the Brazilian buttock lift is preparation of the areas for fat harvesting. Usually, these areas include the hips, abdomen, or thighs. The skin is carefully cleansed after you are asleep and you will be given an antibiotic. Fat is then gently removed by suction using specially designed instruments to keep the fat cells healthy.

After that, the fluid is removed from the fat, and the living fat cells are prepared for injection. The markings made before surgery are then used as a guide to place the fat grafts in the buttocks. Usually, a single incision above the tailbone area is all that is needed to remove fat from the hips and waist, and then re-inject it into the buttocks.

The best candidates for Brazilian Buttock Lifts are those who have some excess fat of the hips, waist, abdomen, and/or thighs who also wish to have a more defined buttock curve or an increase in their buttock size. Individuals with smaller deposits of body fat will not have as much tissue available to produce a buttock that is as full or rounded.

Where your surgery will be performed

Your Brazilian buttock lift may be performed in a surgeons office-based facility, in an outpatient surgery center, or in a hospital. Smaller-volume. Brazilian buttock lifting is usually done on an outpatient basis for reasons of cost and convenience. However, if a large volume of fat will be removed, or if the liposuction is being performed in conjunction with other procedures, a stay in a hospital or overnight nursing facility may be required.

ll surgery carries some uncertainty and risk

Fat grafting using the Brazilian technique is safe, and medical complications could include bleeding, infection, or fluid collections where the fat was injected. From a cosmetic standpoint, not all the fat transferred will survive, and some loss of the grafts naturally occur. Following your doctors directions and avoiding prolonged sitting or pressure on the new fat grafts the first week or so will probably help your results.

After your surgery

After surgery, you will likely experience some fluid drainage from the incisions. To control swelling and to help your skin better fit its new contours, you may be fitted with a snug elastic garment to wear over the treated area for a few weeks. Your doctor will ask that you not spend too much time sitting or driving the first two weeks.

Most common surgical procedures sought by patients worldwide – The Yucatan Times

Lisette Hilton, president of Words Come Alive, has written about health care, medical science and business, fitness and wellness for 25 years.

In her latest article on ModernMedicineNetwork, a news hub for health industry professionals, she cites Dr. Renato Saltzsresearch on the most common surgical procedures practiced in countries such as Mexico, due to huge cost difference with the same operations in the US or Europe.

Dr. Saltz is a Board Certified Utah plastic surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Specializing in the Aesthetic Surgery of the Face & Body.

The demand for cosmetic surgery continues to soar in the five countries with the highest number of nonsurgical and surgical cosmetic procedures the U.S., followed by Brazil, Japan, Italy and Mexico according to 2016 statistics released in June 2017 by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS).

Rounding out the top 10 countries, according to ISAPS: Russia comes in sixth, followed by India, Turkey, Germany and France.

Overall, cosmetic procedures increased 9% from 2015 to 2016, with the top five countries accounting for more than 40% of the worlds cosmetic procedures. The U.S. represents nearly 18% of the surgical and nonsurgical aesthetic procedures performed in 24 countries.

An estimated 6,600 plastic surgeons practice in the U.S., compared to 2,050 in Russia, ranked sixth, and 225 in the number 30 spot held by Denmark, according to the section of the report ranking countries by number of plastic surgeons.

The fastest growing procedure in 2016 was labiaplasty, with a 45% increase since 2015.

The area of vaginal rejuvenation continues to expand with surgical (labiaplasty) and nonsurgical options (vaginal tightening) never seen before, says ISAPS President Renato Saltz, M.D., of Saltz Plastic Surgery, Salt Lake City, Utah. Patient satisfaction based on published studies appears to be very high.

Worldwide demand for the lower body lift increased 29%. Demand for the upper body lift and breast augmentation using fat transfer both grew at a rate of 20% in the 12 months since the last statistical report. The buttock lift increased worldwide by 20% in 2016.

Breast augmentation continues to reign in popularity as the worlds most in-demand cosmetic procedure and representing nearly 16% of all surgical procedures. Although demand for breast augmentation, worldwide, fell 4% from 2015 to 16 due to decreased use of saline implants silicone implant use rose 4%.

Dr. Saltz says thats a key finding that demand for breast augmentation worldwide is consistent with what physicians see in the U.S., where breast augmentation is the number one surgical procedure.

Following in worldwide popularity of cosmetic procedures were liposuction, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty and abdominoplasty.

The least popular surgical procedure in 2016 was penile enlargement, according to the report.

Botulinum toxin topped nonsurgical procedure demand worldwide, with a 7% increase since 2015.

Dr. Saltz says the continued growth of nonsurgical procedures worldwide makes sense. Patients now benefit from nonsurgical technology and products that actually work and have predictable, safe results, he says.

Nearly 14% of patients worldwide in 2016 were men, according to ISAPS. The data in the ISAPS report was tabulated from responses to a questionnaire sent to an international database of about 35,000 plastic surgeons.

The buttocks are often considered one of the sexiest body parts. Nothing seems more attractive to men than women’s backside in tight jeans.

As for women, the majority of them pay attention to mens buttocks first and foremost they find them much more appealing than anything else that a man can boast of.

Many consider well-formed buttocks to be sexually attractive. However, the definition of well-formed is not fixed, as sexual aesthetics of the buttocks vary considerably from culture to culture, from one period of fashion to another and even from person to person.

This feature contains nudity. Please click OK to confirm you are at least 18 years of age and are not offended by such material.

Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.

There are three ways to enhance the buttock region:

Our surgeons refrain from using implants and primarily rely on either fat grafting or flaps. The “Brazilian Butt Lift” is merely fat grafting. The flaps may be used during a buttock lift procedure. The difference between these procedures will be the extent of scarring. If you have poor skin quality and a droopy buttock, then a buttock lift may be needed.

Some of our Brazilian Butt Lift patients, who come to our practice in Houston, Pearland, and Webster, TX, may desire more fullness over the buttock area and in this particular case, we could transfer the removed fat to the buttock. During fat transfers, the fat is placed deeply in the muscle in several different layers to create a smooth augmentation without irregularities.

Sometimes, the doctor performs liposuction in order to further enhance the shape of the buttocks. The use of fat grafting has revolutionized Buttock enhancement. It is simpler to perform, with a usual operative time of 1.5 hours. It has minimal pain and discomfort postoperatively, and requires minimal recuperation.

The fat is injected through two very small incisions and is carefully layered through tunnels throughout the buttocks. In 30 to 35% of the patients a repeat fat grafting is necessary because of significant absorption of fat. However, it is unlikely that further fat grafting beyond the second treatment will be necessary.

An important consideration for buttock fat grafting is the availability of extra fat in different parts of the body. While fat is usually in abundance, there are patients in whom there is no extra fat available.

After performing the same procedure on the other buttock, the doctor makes sure the buttocks are symmetrical and natural looking.

With most cosmetic surgery, it is recommended that you stop smoking six weeks before surgery. It is particularly important to increase the chances of survival of the fat grafts. Certain medications that increase the risk of bleeding such as aspirin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications, and some vitamins/homeopathic regimens should be discontinued prior to the surgery.

All of these procedures are performed under general anesthesia in our AAAASF facility.

When you wake up you will feel tired, sore, and stiff. It is important to take the medication prescribed to you. Someone will need to drive you home, and you may need assistance at home over the next couple of days.

You will have a compression garment on after surgery to provide support, which should not be removed for the next few days following surgery.

Rest is important to the healing process, so do it as much as possible following your procedure. Drink plenty of fluids, and be sure to take the prescribed medications.

Most likely, you will be able to resume calm, quiet work within a few days to weeks following Buttock enhancement surgery. You should still avoid physical exertion for several weeks.

Buttock enhancement is an increasingly popular procedure. It allows flat or poorly developed buttocks to be enhanced. While many women will increase the size of their breasts, they find that there is an imbalance between their front and the back. There are many women who have the curves of the breasts and the thighs, and need to round out the buttocks as well. This procedure is especially popular with Latinos and African Americans, but is often performed as well on whites.

Women who are unhappy with the size of their buttocks frequently seek buttock enhancement. Some feel their buttocks lack shape, while others want to have a more sensuous backside by making them larger and rounder. Buttock enhancement is usually quite successful at making the bottom larger and shapelier. This has helped many women gain that more sensuous appearance.

The best candidates for buttock enhancement are:

Brazilian Butt Lift (Fat Grafting to Buttock)

What is a Brazilian Buttock Lift?

It is said that Jennifer Lopez has done for the rear end what Pamela Anderson has done for the front end and over the last few years the buttocks have received more press coverage than ever before. Schedule A Consultation with Dr. MotykieButtock augmentation or reshaping can improve the appearance of the entire lower back and buttock region. This is accomplished by performing liposuction of the body and then transferring the fatty tissue into the buttock area to create a rounder, perkier appearing buttock. This procedure is often referred to as a Brazilian Butt Lift and it will not only reshape the buttock region, it can also reshape the entire lower back and hips in order to creating an overall more aesthetically pleasing silhouette and body contour. Fat transfer is favored over gluteal implants because it gives a much softer, natural result. This type of surgery is a great way to improve both size and shape of the buttocks as well as achieve more proportion of the overall body.

The areas surrounding the buttocks are first contoured by liposuction in order to make the buttocks stand out more and the fat grafting material must be harvested in a manner which preserves the integrity of the fat cells. Common areas liposuctioned include the lower back (directly above the buttock), the stomach, the waist and the thighs. In order to get enough quality fat, Dr. Motykie typically has to perform liposuction on at least 2 areas of your body. The fat suctioned from these areas is then carefully processed and purified for re-injection into the buttocks. Dr. Motykie uses a special fat injection technique to ensure only the best donor fat cells are re-injected back into your buttocks for use in augmentation. Dr. Motykie injects the purified fat into different areas and layers of your buttocks in order to get a uniform, smooth, natural appearance of the buttocks as well as improved long-term survival of the grafted fat.

Buttock augmentation by way of fat transfer (Brazilian buttock lift) is usually performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient procedure with patients going home the same day. The procedure takes about 90 minutes to complete. The success of the surgical outcome has a lot to do with the technique used by Dr. Motykie.

The best candidate for a Brazilian buttock lift is someone who is in good overall health but has adequate donor areas of fat on their body. This excess fat is needed in order to ensure there is enough fat available to create a nice, round buttock during surgery. Patients who are very thin are not good candidates for fat transfer to the buttock and they may be advised to gain some weight before having the procedure performed in order to help ensure a successful outcome.

Buttock implants are limited in that they can only deliver volume to one specific area and therefore a lot of sculpting and contouring cannot be performed to custom shape the buttocks. Furthermore, buttock implants tend to feel less natural than when a bodys own fat is utilized. Buttock implants also have more potential complications such as infection, implant displacement, sagging, capsular contracture (scar tissue formation), and wound healing problems at the incision site. For these reasons, they are generally not preferred by most board certified plastic surgeons for use in buttock augmentation.

The abdomen, waist (love handles), thighs and lower back are the primary areas used to donate fat which is obtained through liposuction.

There is no defined minimum or maximum amount of fat that can be transferred per side during a Brazilian buttock lift. The final amount depends on the volume of good quality fat that can be obtained via liposuction. Patients who have more fat on their bodies can generally have a higher volume injected, this can range anywhere from 200 cc to 1000 cc per side. More important than the actual amount of fat injected is the technique used to properly prepare and inject the fat so that its long term survival is improved.

This varies from person to person and technique used, but most patients can expect to keep about 70% of the total transferred fat (volume). After about six months, the amount of fat that remains is assumed to be permanent. If the fat is harvested, processed, and injected correctly, the result should be long lasting.

The buttock size can increase or decrease depending on your overall body weight fluctuations since the grafted fat will behave like fat elsewhere in your body. If you gain weight, you may see an increase in the size of your buttock as well as your entire body. If you lose weight after the surgery, your buttock may get smaller but so may your entire body.

Most patients will take 5-7 days off from work to recover from a buttock augmentation (Brazilian buttock lift). Some patients find it beneficial to modify their sitting with the use of pillows and cushions for the first week or two after surgery.

I recommend that patients avoid strenuous, fat burning exercise for about 4-6 weeks after surgery. This will allow the newly transferred fat cells an opportunity to survive long-term. You can do some light aerobic activity and weight training a few weeks after surgery and walking right after surgery is highly recommended.

Patients wear a compressive garment from their waist to their knees for the first week after surgery. Positioning after a Brazilian buttock lift therefore becomes very important and some patients feel more comfortable sleeping on their sides or their stomach during this period. Patients can sit on their buttocks after surgery but most feel more comfortable with the assistance of a special pillow or cushion placed under the back of their thighs. Most of the obvious swelling resolves in about two to four weeks after surgery. As with any type of fat transfer, some of the fat may shrink or atrophy with time, and by six months you will have a good idea of how much fat (volume) will remain long-term. The Brazilian buttock lift allows Dr. Motykie to re-sculpt and increase the size of the entire buttocks, waist, abdomen, hips and lower back.

It is possible to perform other procedures such as a tummy tuck or breast augmentation at the same time as a buttock augmentation in order to further enhance overall body shape and proportion.

The average total cost of a Brazilian Butt Augmentation averages $8,000-$10,000. Keep in mind that you also get body liposculpting (abdomen, waist, hips and thighs) included with this procedure. Thus, this fee includes multiple areas of liposuction plus the fat injections to the buttocks. Also included in the quote is the physicians fee, anesthesia, operating room costs and all post-operative office visits. The fee varies slightly depending on the amount of fat which needs to be extracted in order to achieve the desired result. Dr. Motykie determines the actual number of areas which need to be liposuctioned in order to achieve your goal during your surgical consultation.

International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Study: Breast Augmentation Without Implants? – GlobeNewswire (press release)

NEW YORK, Aug. 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The results from a recent study conducted by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) shows that an increasing number of women are choosing to have a breast augmentation using fat transfer, instead of getting the more traditional silicone or saline implants.

In its annual international study released in July 2017, ISAPS announced that breast augmentation was still the worlds most popular cosmetic surgery procedure, with silicone implants rising in popularity by 11% over the previous year. However, the popularity of saline implants dipped by 4% and the number of women instead choosing breast augmentation using fat transfer rose by 22% one of the highest increases revealed by the study.

Were sure that many people reviewing this data will be surprised to learn about the popularity of breast augmentation using fat transfer, says Dr. Renato Saltz, plastic surgeon based in Salt Lake City, Utah, and President of ISAPS. But the truth is that fat transfer, or fat grafting as it is commonly called has quickly grown to become one of the most ground-breaking cosmetic procedures over the last 5 years. Plastic surgeons now commonly use a patients own fat as a natural filler to restore lost volume in both the face and other parts of the body with buttocks and breasts being the most common areas.

So does fat transfer breast augmentation indicate the end of breast implants altogether? Dr. Saltz has a strong opinion about this. As with any cosmetic surgery procedure, there are different ways and techniques to achieve an end result. Silicone implants still remain the most popular choice for the vast majority of breast augmentation patients worldwide and thats due to a variety of factors: including size, shape, longevity, etc.

As with any cosmetic surgery decision, education about your breast augmentation options is paramount. The first step is to consult with your plastic surgeon and hear what their recommendations are, says Dr. Saltz. Theyll take into account your natural body shape, your proportions, and what option will best achieve your goals. Its a good idea to ask at the consult if fat transfer makes sense for you. For some patients it certainly will, but for others, an implant will be the best way to achieve the look theyre after. Its important to remember that breast augmentation using fat transfer is a relatively new development in cosmetic surgery, it is more common for fat transfer to be used to shape the buttock area such as in the Brazilian Buttock Lift, but it is an exciting option that might be suitable for those patients who are looking for a small volume increase.

Survey MethodologyThe data on aesthetic/cosmetic surgical and non-surgical procedures performed in 2016 was tabulated with a questionnaire sent to approximately 35,000 plastic surgeons in the ISAPS proprietary database. Survey responses were received by plastic surgeons in 106 countries. ISAPS is the only organization that collects this type of cosmetic data annually on a global scale. The results were compiled, tabulated and analyzed by Industry Insights, an independent research firm based in Columbus, Ohio. For a copy of full results, please visit http://www.ISAPS.org.

About ISAPSThe International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery is the premier global organization for board-certified plastic surgeons. Regarded as the leading global authority on aesthetics and cosmetic surgery, ISAPS has over 3,200 members in 104 countries. Through its rigorous membership requirements, ISAPS plastic surgeons are considered to be among the most qualified in their respective countries, making it easy for patients who are considering cosmetic surgery to start their journey by meeting with an ISAPS plastic surgeon. ‘Melania Makeover’ is the latest trend in cosmetic surgery – Blasting News

It is not just actress Laura Benanti who is copying First Lady Melania Trump. A growing number of American women are copying the Slovenian immigrant not by speaking with a strong eastern European accent but by undergoing cosmetic procedures.

When Republican candidate Donald Trump won the 2016 U.S. election, the initial peg of women who seek #cosmetic surgery was the real estate billionaires daughter Ivanka. However, cosmetic surgeons noticed recently a change in peg from the first daughter to the FLOTUS.

Dr. Franklin Rose, a cosmetic surgeon in Houston, gave the popular cosmetic procedure the name Melania Makeover when he noticed a shift as more female clients cite the former model as their ideal face and figure to imitate.

The shift appears to have occurred as Melania became more prominent in her role as first lady and with her move to Washington from New York.

One of the women who asked Dr. Rose to change her appearance to look similar to Melania Trump is Claudia Sierra, a Texas mother whose story will be featured in Inside Edition, The New York Post reported. On Tuesday, she had eight procedures to look like the FLOTUS. It includes rhinoplasty, a Brazilian buttock lift, breast reduction, an eyelid lift, Botox, fillers, a liposuction, and other unspecified injectable treatments, according to Newsweek.

To achieve the Ivanka look, Tiffany Taylor spent about $60,000 which included a mini eye lift, cheek injections, rhinopasty, liposuction, and breast augmentation. After the surgery, she said in November she saw absolutely stunning perfection.

She compared herself to an art piece with high points and some love.

The other patient of Dr. Rose, Jenny Stuart, spent half of what Taylor paid for even if she underwent the same cosmetic procedures. The lower cost was because her surgeon gave her a hefty discount for appearing on TV, presumably to endorse or discuss the surgery.

Dr. Rise reveals it is not just in the U.S. but even in China where the two Trump women are the popular pegs for cosmetic surgery. The Washington Post reported there are over 250 trademark applications in the Asian giant using different variations of Ivankas name submitted to the China Trademark Office in November, including the Foshan Yiwanka Medical Management which offers liposuction, breast enlargement, and other cosmetic procedures to make women look like Ivanka or other female celebrities.

On Wednesday, Melania Trump was seen wearing a $1,498 black dress from Farfetch while on the way to dinner at the Naval Observatory with her husband. The dress was originally priced at $2,995, Footwearnews reported. #Ivanka Trump

Mom undergoes 8 surgeries to look like Melania Trump – New York Post

Melania mania has hit the plastic surgery world.

Texas mom Claudia Sierra is just the latest client to go under the knife to look like the first lady, according to her surgeon.

Requests for the former models features have become so popular that Houston surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose has announced the Melania Makeover. Rosen said he introduced the surgery once it became apparent that client interest in Melania had eclipsed Ivanka Trump.

Ive have had many women visit my office wanting the Ivanka look,’ Rose said in a press release. So its not really surprising to see women now requesting to look more like Melania, who is simply gorgeous.

Sierra, who calls the first lady her inspiration, will share her plastic surgery journey on Inside Edition.

The mom-of-two underwent eight procedures Tuesday to look like her muse.

Melania for me illustrates power and strength. She is our first lady and I am looking forward to more closely resembling her and becoming a better version of me and for it to show on the outside, Sierra said before the makeover.

Her procedures included a breast reduction, rhinoplasty, liposuction, a Brazilian buttock lift and an eyelid lift.

I want to feel like the first lady that I know I am inside, Sierra said.
